# Jobs

Jobs is where work from your field service system shows up in Connect — Active, Planned, and Overview — with Connie on the job when you need context.

**Path:** `/jobs`

## Browse jobs

1. Open **Jobs** in the sidebar.
2. Use **Active**, **Planned**, or **Overview**.
3. Narrow with filters (job type groups such as Call out / Service / Other, categories, statuses, resources).
4. Open a job for the detail drawer (`/jobs/:jobId`). Title format: **Job -** followed by the job reference.

The **Stats** tab is present but **disabled** today.

## On a job

Use the drawer for overview (including AI summary), worksheets, contact details, timekeeping, and job history. Side chat gives **Summary** and **Ask Connie** scoped to that job.

Job Ask Connie is the same streamed Connie as the header drawer: live answers, thinking chrome, tool chips, **+** for saved prompts, and a voice note from the composer mic. Session history on a job is listed for that customer. See [Ask Connie](/connect/ask-connie).

## From jobs to Cases

When several jobs tell one story — three callouts to the same site, an SLA cluster, a complaint trail — [create a Case](/connect/cases) from the Cases page, or multi-select them in [Advanced search](/connect/search), then [assign a Team](/connect/teams). Put the lasting trail on the Case.

## Tips

* For “have we seen this fault before?”, use [Search](/connect/search) or [Ask Connie](/connect/ask-connie), then open the related job.
* Discovery habits: [Operational discovery](/guides/operational-discovery).
