# Users and roles

> Invite company users and assign product roles in VH3 Connect Profile.

# Users and roles

Invite people into your company and assign **product roles** under Profile. This page is company access — who can sign in and what they can administer.

For **operational Teams** that own Cases (regions, portfolios, incident rooms), see [Teams](/connect/teams).

## Who can manage users

| Role                                | Typical capabilities                                    |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Admin**                           | View, invite, edit, and remove company users            |
| **Manager**                         | View company users; edit company details; view invoices |
| **Standard / Engineer / Developer** | No user-admin permissions                               |

Roles you can assign when inviting: **Admin**, **Manager**, **Developer**, **Engineer**, **Standard**.

## Invite and manage members

1. Open **Profile**.
2. Under **About Company**, open **Manage members** (only if your role allows).
3. Invite users and choose a product role.
4. Edit or remove members when you have permission.
5. Ask new users to complete [sign up / invite](/connect/sign-up).
